There are few places that you can dream dream of to be so perfect like the Le Morne paradise beach in Mauritius, so check how can you get there and have the best experience.
HOW TO GET TO LE MORNE
The best way to go to Le Morne Peninsula is by car, driving mainly on Highway 1 of Mauritius and then turn to Le Morne at the junction of Quatre Bornes. From there it’s a mere 20 minutes by car.
Below you can see a travel map of Mauritius with Le Morne peninsula location on the Southwest of the island.
WHY GO TO LE MORNE
The reason why Le Morne is worth a visit, is the fine white sand beach covered by palm trees, incredible crystal clear waters and the incredible backdrop of the 556mts high Le Morne mountain.
Having been to some beautiful beaches around Mauritius such as Trou aux Biches, Pereybére, Blue Bay, this really had to be something special. I can tell you that when the Le Mone mountain shape gets closer and closer down the winding road you come from, it makes it feel really like something special. Also there are no other mountains here, all is flat in this peninsula, so the highlight is there.
WHAT TO SEE IN LE MORNE
There are 2 prime beach locations – the public beach and the private beach, exclusive to Beachcomber Le Paradis guests (fitting name!). Even if both are connected on the same stretch, when you cross the hotel barriers, you will see that is different but both are wonderful to be at.
To get to the hotel grounds you need to get through securtíty gate, you can’t access it from the public beach as it’s surveilled by cameras. You can try to get access if you are a guest of other same chain hotels or if you ask to visit the property asking for conditions. Then you can decide.
At the end, whether you enter the hotel grounds or stay at the public one, this is the most incredible in Mauritius. The colors of the water, lush vegetation and the Le Morne mountain just make it perfect for pictures and to enjoy a great beach day.
WHERE TO STAY AT LE MORNE
Beachcomber Le Paradis is the nicest property around Le Morne as it has the best views but you also have other nice properties like the Lux Le Morne or Beachcomber Dinarobin . Ogf course you pay the location price and the fact that they all are 5 stars resorts, so expect to pay 250€ per night or more depending on the type of accommodation and season.
A slightly cheaper option are the properties on southern part of Le Morne like Riu Le Morne.
