My name is Renato, born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. Then I moved to Switzerland on my late 20s for a couple of years, before going to live in Hamburg, Germany, where I still reside today. Besides traveling , I love doing sports, going to the cinema, enjoying the beach and to socialize with friends, whilst sipping a cocktail and talk about travel and life adventures.

I am a passionate travel explorer who lives for discovering new destinations and immersing himself in different cultures. With a never ending desire to experience the world’s wonders, I always seek to make my journeys as incredible as possible, looking out for the ultimate travel experiences.

I always had a huge curiosity to go explore the World but what makes my travels unqiue is my eagerness to venture off the beaten path, exploring hidden gems with breathtaking beauty. From remote islands to villages nestled in majestic landscapes, through ancient temples, deserted beaches, and hikes through lush rainforests, I am always determined to uncover the secrets that lie beyond the tourist guides.

i am also a huge fan of photography, always trying to captures each extraordinary moment with my smartphone or digital camera lens. After all pictures and videos can tell vivid tales of paradise beaches, vibrant cities, great outdoors, exotic wildlife and so much more!

But for me travelling goes beyond snapping pictures. I seek authentic connections with locals, eager to learn about their traditions, customs, and ways of life. This allows me a deeper understanding of the world, breaking down cultural barriers and broadening my horizons. The fact that I speak 6 languages does help to unlock many great interactions.

My first international travel was to the UK, that included London, Edinburgh and the Scottish highlands. I was a teenager but the memory of this trip remains as the start of my travel story. Since then I have collected many countries, sites and places, but that trip will always be a very special one.

Over the years, I learned to travel differently by reading about my destination and plan better travel itineraries, but always being flexible to change my journey plans. And that’s for me the most important travel learning: if you like one place or discover an experience that you want to do, well chabge your plans and embrace it! Those are usually the most incredible travel memories you will have to remember and make the journey so much better.

l have been fortunate to have visited more than 80 countries across all continents. My goals is to travel to at least 100 countries,. In the meantime I want to share with you the best places I travelled to and inspire you where to travel next.
